My Story
I became interested in woodworking when I was a child. Both of my grandfathers were very handy and skilled. I still use some of the items that they made for me when I was young. When I got older they started to teach me how to build things. First it started with a lot of assistance and supervision but as time went on I gained confidence and began building my own projects. Then I took a woodworking class when I was in middle school and I was hooked. I also earned the woodworking merit badge when I was a Boy Scout to further my skills.
When I was in high school I rebuilt the deck on my family home. It wasn't perfect but I sure learned a lot. Especially how to work with the mistakes I made along the way.

There were years where my only woodworking involved repairs around the places I was living, whether it be an apartment or a single family home. I also helped numerous friends with various projects. In the early 2000's I rebuilt the deck on my own home. I doubled the size of it just in time for a surprise birthday party for my wife. She wasn't sure why I was spending so many late nights working (scrambling really) to get the thing done in time. It wasn't perfect but it was done, looked pretty good and was sturdy.

Which brings me to today. I had taken some time away from woodworking but decided to get back into it. It's been a labor of love and I'm excited to see what the future will bring.
